What You'll Do:

The Ohio Attorney General's Office is currently seeking an experienced Information Technology Specialist for a position available in the Information Technology Services (ITS) Section. The Information Technology Specialist 4 position requires considerable working knowledge of computers and electronics in order to troubleshoot and/or provide maintenance for Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical issues. The headquarter location is our London, OH office. The ideal candidate will be skilled in the administration/maintenance of Microsoft Intune which is used for management of all production end point workstations. They will also possess exceptional technical knowledge as well as an extremely professional and positive demeanor.

The duties for this position include but are not limited to:

-Installs, maintains, configures, upgrades and/or administers hardware and/or software. Diagnoses, analyzes, and resolves issues for customer(s).

-Acts as liaison between users, vendors, and Information Technology Services staff to include executives and managers. Creates, modifies, and maintains scripts

-Creates and captures images and/or reimages equipment in preparation of deployment.

-Deploys all required workstation operating system/application patches and troubleshoots any issues. Creates/Maintains application deployments through Microsoft Intune and Patch my PC.

-Generate reports via Intune through Excel, Power BI, etc...

-Acts as primary point of contact for administration/support of agency specific software.

-Maintains records of daily data communication transactions, problems and remedial actions taken, or installation activities.

-Performs advanced-level training for clients on individual or group basis (e.g. software, hardware, and networks).

-Promotes system security and awareness by adhering to the Agency's security policy and standards.

-Provides knowledge transfer and technical instruction to employees on regularly maintained or newly enhanced systems and/or processes.

-Deploys all required workstation operating system/application patches and troubleshoots any issues.

-Creates/Maintains application deployments through Microsoft Intune.

-Generate reports via Intune through Excel, Power BI, etc...

-Stays current regarding new technologies, standards, and techniques and learn and/or acquires new skills as required.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:

-Education: Core undergraduate program in Computer Science or Information Systems or equivalent work experience.

-AND Experience: Minimum 4 years combined work experience in any combination of the following: installing, monitoring/maintaining, configuring, upgrading, and/or administering/operating multiple technology domains; AND a minimum of 2 years Oracle database experience.

-Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications

-Valid Driver's license

-Reliable home internet connection for remote work

Preferred Qualifications:

-Knowledge on application packaging and troubleshooting packaging issues

-Proficiency in Microsoft Intune Suite

Proficiency in powershell scripting
