The Legal Office is currently seeking Information Technology Specialist I to provide support to the Legal Office and the Investigation Unit. Duties include but are not limited to:Collect data as part of an investigation and or review electronic data obtained during an investigation. Identify and preserve evidence to support legal, criminal and or administrative actions. Collect and maintain chain of custody for information technology assets that are necessary to support the key personnel exit process. Properly handle and maintain a chain of custody for information technology assets that are necessary to support the key personnel exit process. Collect and review electronic data obtained during an investigation. Collect electronic data and perform sophisticated computer analysis of that data to support the activities of the CalPERS Legal Office, Enterprise Compliance, Risk and Governance Division, Human Resources Services Division, and other CalPERS business groups. Perform as a systems administrator for Encase and Relativity (IT Programs used for legal and investigative research) and provide support for software systems utilized by the Legal Office and Investigation Unit Including ProLaw and M-Files. Act as a technical subject matter expert for complex information technology tools that enable the Investigation Unit to provide electronic data to the CalPERS enterprise. In-depth understanding of CalPERS data center architectures, systems operations, and vendor products. Access and run reports using data analytics software. How did you hear about this position?
