Are you looking for a fast-paced and challenging position that will provide you with extremely valuable Access and Identity management experience, extensive variety, and frequent exposure to managers and staff in the Information Technology Branch? The Employment Development Department (EDD) is looking for a highly motivated and qualified individual to work in the Infrastructure Services Division.
Under close supervision and in a learner capacity, the Information Technology Student Assistant (ITSA) will assist the Access and Identity Management Assurance (AIM-Assurance) team in performing a variety of duties that Integrates and/or provides Active Directory and Identity Management Services, including Authentication/Authorization, Name Resolution, Domains/Trusts, Sites/Services, Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP). The student assistant will also be trained to respond to complex escalated Enterprise server and client problems and trained to investigate and troubleshooting for resolving issues and close with root cause analysis.
The student assistants can provide proof of successfully completed classes taken in lieu of experience.
This position may be eligible for a hybrid work schedule. The amount of telework is at the discretion of the Department and is subject to change as business needs arise. Employees are required to report to their headquarters office on their assigned in-office days. Travel expenses to and from the assigned headquarters are the responsibility of the employee.
