Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Own the team in handling and optimizing Tidal Enterprise Scheduler for efficient workflow automation
• Be responsible for the scheduling, monitoring, and fix of batch jobs to ensure timely completion
• Provide technical expertise in Tidal to craft, implement, and maintain scheduling solutions
• Collaborate with multi-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in Life and Annuities Insurance
• Develop and maintain documentation for scheduling processes and procedures
• Conduct regular reviews and audits of scheduling activities to identify and mitigate risks - Implement continuous improvement initiatives to improve the efficiency and reliability of scheduling operations
• Train and mentor team members on Tidal and industry-specific standard methodologies
• Coordinate with collaborators to ensure alignment of scheduling activities with business objectives
• Monitor system performance and implement tuning and optimization strategies
• Provide timely and effective communication to collaborators1` regarding scheduling issues and resolutions
• Lead incident management and root cause analysis for scheduling-related issues

Position Qualifications:

• At least 13 to 17 years
• Required skills: Tidal and Tidal Enterprise Scheduler
• Possess in-depth knowledge of Tidal and Tidal Enterprise Scheduler
• Demonstrate expertise in the Life and Annuities Insurance domain
• Exhibit strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Show proficiency in user documentation and process improvement
• Have superb communication and partnership skills
• Display a proactive approach to identifying and addressing scheduling challenges
• Hold a bachelor's degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field
• Preferably have certifications in Tidal or related scheduling tools
• Demonstrate experience in leading and mentoring technical teams
• Show the ability to prioritize and deliver results under pressure

Salary and Other Compensation:

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and is subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
