Piper Companies is looking for a Infrastructure Systems Engineer to join a healthcare services organization. This is based in Columbia, MD with 3 days remote per week.

Essential Duties of theInfrastructure Systems Engineer:

• Responsible for design, implementation, and maintaining IT infrastructure technologies and services.
• Assist with technology solutions to fit IT strategies designed to address business needs. Includes working with vendors, other IT teams and Leadership in reviewing design and technical requirements.
• Contributes to the modernization of infrastructure strategy by helping evaluate, implement, and manage cloud based infrastructure and moving toward a more hybrid data center strategy.
• Third tier technical support and participate in troubleshooting methodology and often works with cross-team troubleshooting efforts.

Qualifications of theInfrastructure Systems Engineer:

• 5+ years of infrastructure experience.
• Primary skillset includes data backups and disaster recovery solutions such as VMware, Rubrik, and Zerto.
• Alternatives to Rubrik and Zerto include VEEAM, Cohesity, any SLA driven backup, or any disaster recovery runbook.
• Nice to have skills include Pure and NetApp for storage and Cisco UCS-X.
• Must have strong Windows administration experience.
• Eligibility to work in the United States.
• Bachelor's degree is preferred.

Compensation for theInfrastructure Systems Engineer:

• $100,000 - $125,000 (based on experience)
