Piper Companies is looking for a Senior Infrastructure System Engineer to join a consulting organization in Columbia, MD. This is a hybrid position and requires the candidate to be onsite 2 days a week.

Essential Duties of the Senior Infrastructure System Engineer:

• Creates and maintains design and configuration artifacts in accordance with Configuration Management and Systems Lifecycle best practices
• Implement systems related technology projects
• Help define and document Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) and best practices for their respective technologies
• Third tier technical support, and participate in troubleshooting methodology and often works with cross-team troubleshooting efforts

Qualifications of the Senior Infrastructure System Engineer:

• 8-10 years experience in a system engineer role
• 8+ years experience supporting Windows Server, Exchange Server and Active Directory (MCSE cert is a big plus)
• Strong experience with VMware
• Strong experience with Rubrik, Zerto and/or Veeam
• Experience working with Cisco UCS-X is preferred

Compensation for the Senior Infrastructure System Engineer:

• $115,000 - $125,000 (based on experience)
