Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with personal hygiene tasks such as bathing, grooming, dressing and toileting
  • Prepare meals according to the client's dietary restrictions and assist with eating if needed
  • Assist with medication reminders as directed by healthcare providers
  • Help clients with mobility needs such as walking assistance and bed transfer
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean environment
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to clients
  • Maintain accurate records of care provided and monitor and communicate any changes in client condition
  • Work with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care and support for the client
