HTC is seeking a junior HL7 Support Coordinator to join our team and provide technical support for HL7 clinical-lab interfaces. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or entry-level candidate to gain experience in healthcare IT and HL7 interface management.

Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary or secondary point of contact in HL7 interfaces and triage issues, resolving the issue, or escalating the issue to other internal teams for resolution.
  • Provide technical support for HL7 interfaces, including troubleshooting and issue resolution.
  • Monitor interface performance and ensure data integrity and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to resolve interface-related issues.
  • Document support processes, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions.
  • Participate in testing and validation of interface changes and updates.
  • Stay up to date on industry standards and best practices related to HL7 and healthcare interoperability.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Healthcare Informatics, or related field. Knowledge of HL7 standards and protocols and 1 -3 years of experience working in a professional environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with healthcare IT systems and terminology is a plus.
  • Eagerness to learn and develop new skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Has a keen sense of urgency and is able to adhere to tight deadlines.
  • Exemplifies someone with focus and determination and has a track record of dedication to accomplishments in personal life and/or professional work experience.
