Interim Carbon Portfolio Manager

A top-tier management consulting firm is partnering with LaSalle Network to hire an Interim Carbon Portfolio Manager. They are dedicated to carbon neutrality and are compiling an industry leading carbon removal team. This role involves building and managing a carbon removal portfolio to mitigate climate change. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of carbon markets, project evaluation and deal structuring.

Interim Carbon Portfolio Manager Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement carbon portfolio strategy
• Monitor carbon market trends and identify new opportunities
• Source, evaluate and select high-quality carbon removal projects
• Negotiate and structure carbon removal deals
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders

Interim Carbon Portfolio Manager Requirements:

• University degree in environmental science, business or related field
• 4+ years of experience in climate finance or carbon markets
• Deep knowledge of carbon removal technologies and project evaluation
• Strong analytical, financial and negotiation skills
