Job description:

In your new role you will:

• Conduct performance benchmarking tests on the existing application and generate reports documenting all the relevant results
• Contribute to proving new system concepts through hardware testing
• Study the loss breakdown analysis of power electronic converters through experiments and/or simulations

Your Profile:

You are best equipped for this task if you are/have:

• Currently pursuing a master's in Electrical Engineering with an emphasis in power electronics
• Taken coursework and/or completed projects relevant to power electronics
• Experience with designing and testing simple AC-DC and DC-AC converters
• Fundamental understanding of control theory and digital programming
• Experience with system simulations and PCB layout tools is desired
• Working knowledge of power semiconductor devices and gate drivers
• Good laboratory, effective presentation and communication skills
• Willingness to learn on the job

Wage range that the company expects to pay for a qualified candidate:

Minimum of $32.50 per hour
Maximum of $38.00 per hour
