Power efficiency is a critical design parameter for SoCs across many diverse market segments from battery powered IOT and Mobile devices to next generation AI server farms. In this role, you will contribute to ensuring key parameters for low power design and architecture are met across different designs and phases of development and validation.

Salary in California:
From: $72,800
To: $120,640

This is a non-exempt hourly role which will be paid at an hourly rate based on the number of hours worked. Pay rates vary by location and educational level.

What you could be doing as a SoC Power Analysis and Architecture Intern?
- Evaluating and piloting new tools for power analysis and modeling
- Creating key workloads, running simulations, applying power analysis tools and evaluating power management efficiency
- Creating power models of various IP
- Applying power models to reflect use case power of a SoC
We are looking for individuals who:
Are currently enrolled and studying towards a MS EE, MS CS or PhD degree.
Qualities that will help your application stand out:
- VLSI design focus with a curiosity about energy efficient architectures
- Fundamental understanding of Computer Architecture and Machine Learning and an interest in AI
- Proficiency in automation and experience in coding (e.g. C, Python, Matlab)
- Experience and interest in Simulation, Emulation, and Modeling
- Adaptability and willing to learn how to use unfamiliar tools and systems
