International Code Service Specialist Company HSB Location Richmond , United States
Provide technical support for the TRS Operation. ICSS will act as a primary point of contact between the Notified Body (Certification and Design offices) and ICSS's; provide technical assistance and direction to Project Managers on PED/International Code issues and provide training to TRS Inspectors. Location negotiable along the East Coast.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Required:
Minimum - High School Diploma
Desired:
Engineering Degree
WORK EXPERIENCE:
Required:
2 years in the operation, fabrication or installation of Boilers and pressure vessels
Desired:
6 YEARS BOILER AND/OR PRESSURE VESSEL DESIGN, FABRICATION AND TESTING, PED QUALIFICATIONS, ISO AND OTHER 3RD PARTY INSPECTION EXPERIENCE.
TECHNICAL SKILLS:
Required:
ASME, International and NBIC Code knowledge
Desired:
AWS CWI, ASNT LEVEL I OR II IN VISUAL INSPECTION, DYE PENETRANT AND RADIOGRAPHY
NON-TECHNICAL SKILLS:
Required:
Excellent human relationship skills, basic Algebra skills, computer skills for Microsoft Office and Lotus Notes applications
Desired:
Experience in coordinating and facilitating 3rd party inspection activities and reporting of same.
