Job Description: The International Logistics Manager will manage the global movement of goods, focusing on inbound logistics, supplier relationships, and compliance with international trade regulations. This role involves enhancing logistics processes, improving ERP system efficiency, and driving cost reductions while ensuring timely delivery to international customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain comprehensive routing guides for efficient inbound shipments.
- Build and sustain strong relationships with suppliers and carriers.
- Ensure compliance with shipping requirements and optimize logistics processes.
- Integrate inbound logistics into the ERP system and manage data accuracy.
- Oversee and streamline booking exceptions, freight management, and inbound shipments.
- Monitor performance through KPIs and dashboards, driving continuous improvements.
- Provide guidance to the logistics team and stay updated on industry best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 5+ years of logistics experience, preferably in a leadership role.
- 5+ years of experience in international freight negotiations.
- Familiarity with ERP systems, preferably BlueCherry.
- Strong skills in logistics software, supplier/carrier management, and cost reduction.
- Excellent project management and organizational abilities.
- Knowledge of international trade regulations and customs is a plus.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for global collaboration.
Additional Details:
- Type/Length of Assignment: Contract-to-Hire
- Start Date: ASAP
- Hybrid Schedule: 2 days remote (Monday and Friday); 3 days onsite (Tuesday - Thursday)
- Work Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Dress Code: Business casual
