Instead of going on coffee runs and making copies, you'll be seated at the table making critical decisions that will influence not only your team, but the overall achievement of Tesla's mission.
Tesla is seeking a highly motivated Program Manager intern to join our Analytics & Automation team. You will take the lead in driving business process transformation and software development initiatives for cross-functional teams within the Finance and Human Resources organizations. Additionally, you will lead business process analysis, process and system strategy definition, requirement documentation, internal/external stakeholder alignment, and execution planning. This role requires a strong and dedicated team player who is familiar with business operations, is strategic, possesses strong analytical skills, has acute attention to detail, and executes at a high caliber.


Responsibilities
  • Partner with Finance and Human Resources leadership to define list of strategic priorities
  • Partner with Operations teams to define business processes, create process documentation, and align on system asks/priority
  • Track requirements, development, and testing progress/closure
  • Partner with Operations teams to document current business processes and create/use data insights to align on highest impact areas of improvement
  • Track requirements, development, and testing progress/closure
  • Monitor project success through data insights


Requirements
  • Pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Business, Computer Science, or related fields
  • Impeccable organizational skills and acute attention to detail
  • Self-starter who can handle multiple projects with competing priorities with minimal direction
  • Excellent business judgment
  • Confident and articulate communicator -- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to provide professional presentations to senior level managers and executive leadership.
  • Ability to work within a complex and fluid, fast-paced, demanding work environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Project software applications for analysis and presentation

    • Expected Compensation

      $23.00 - $34.00 + benefits

      Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
