JOB SUMMARY:

The Transformation & Change Management (TCM) team is part of the Digital & Technology Transformation Management Office. Intern will assist with communications and change management for Digital and Technology initiatives, messaging, and stakeholder engagement across Digital and Technology, and roles and responsibilities/interaction model. This opportunity will provide a student the chance to see how TCM creates a seamless change experience to deliver sustainable business value, in concert with our Product, PMO, and Delivery groups.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Engages in activities supporting business readiness for Universal Epic Universe.
  • Assists with communications planning, training development and deployment, and stress testing.
  • Works directly with the Sr. Director of Transformation & Change Management as well as representatives from Product, PMO, and delivery to develop and execute business readiness plans.
  • Partners closely with Talent Development.
  • Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training, and Team Member involvement activities.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION:
  • In pursuit of an Associate, Bachelor or Graduate degree at an Accredited Institution with current class standing of Sophomore or above.
  • Recent graduates will not be eligible for this program.
  • Minimum cumulative 2.8 GPA is required.
  • An official transcript may be required upon request.
  • Preferred majors include: Business, Operations, Management, Human Resources, Applied Technology, Industrial Engineering.
  • Preferred coursework completed: Communication, Business Management/Administration.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

Preferable skills for success in role include but not limited to:
  • Must be efficient in Microsoft Office Programs including, but not limited to: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, problem-solving abilities and organization.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Superior written & verbal communication skills.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment and adhere to deadlines.
  • Ability to work autonomously and/or in teams.
  • Consistent attendance

  • This internship will be a hybrid experience, based in our Orlando offices.
  • Interns must be currently pursuing a degree at an accredited university, and must have a graduation date later than April 2025.
  • Universal Orlando does not provide housing. Interns are responsible for their own housing and transportation.
