INTL - Data Analyst - INDIA

An employer is looking for a Data Analyst to join their team in HITEC City, Hyderabad, India. This team is the Commissions team, responsible for the Sales Compensation Management System that determines commissions payouts for various sales channels (such as retail/care, business, 3rd party sellers). They are moving towards a lot of self-service channels for customers, in lieu of direct engagements with their frontline retail/care sales. With the new self-service processes, they want to compensate the sales teams based on prior engagements or referrals to self-service flows. To support this, they are building out a framework from data integration to associating all the relevant data points both old and new to enable that.

This is an AWS Oracle RDS application (Oracle 19c) and need a team that has strong database design and development experience. The team is looking for Database Developers, Data Engineers, and Data Analysts to support this initiative. They need functional analysts for design and testing, supported by database developers to implement the new.

Required Skills & Experience

Analyze large data sets, generate insights supporting business objectives
Collect, clean and preprocess data from various sources to ensure data integrity and accuracy
Analyze data sets to discover trends and patterns
Analyze data for data types, conversion challenges and source to target mappings
Create the necessary functional documentation for the database developers, data engineers to consume
Perform tests on the work done by database developers and data engineers
Create sample data sets, test for technical and functional requirements
Own the test environment and do the necessary updates to meet testing needs
Create the necessary documentations on test cases and results. Provide necessary feedback to technical team members
Be the gate keeper to meet features and SLAs.
Oracle database data
Athena for writing queries/testing/seeing results
Familiarity with AWS, S3 buckets
SQL Queries
General data quality experience ensuring data type is correct, if there are too many nulls in a table updating the function, ensuring data is correct and in the right place
