INVENTORY CONTROL CLERK I

Tracks inventory levels to ensure that all products are in stock and available for distribution in the warehouse.

Schedule: 3rd shift, Sunday - Thursday 10PM - 6:30AM

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS / PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Maintains accurate inventory levels and ensures that inventory is present and ready for use.
• Works with internal teammates to ensure solid understanding of customer demands and needs.
• Files claims when defective goods are discovered.
• Other duties may be assigned.
• Conduct daily location cycle counts in the freezer.
• Responsible for reporting dates on item counts.
• Responsible for correct rotation of product to maintain QA compliance.
• Responsible for daily, weekly and monthly inventory reports.
• Research inventory discrepancies.
• Crosstrain to cover other areas of inventory to cover vacations, etc;
• Research and correct date reports.
• Perform all other duties assigned.

MINIMUM SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2 or more years work experience, preferably in the distribution industry
• Experience with Microsoft Office systems

WORKING CONDITIONS:

• Office and warehouse environment
