Our New York office is looking for talented investment bankers at the Associate or Vice President level to join our leading asset management investment banking coverage team. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to work with preeminent, global clients on a wide range of complex transactions including M&A, IPOs, private capital and debt raises, and other strategic advisory engagements.
We work closely with asset managers (including private equity, private credit, infrastructure, venture capital, real estate, etc.) at the C-suite level to provide best-in-class strategic advice and execution, collaborating closely with other industry and product bankers across the Firm globally. Qualifications:
- 4-7 years of experience, or 1+ year of post-MBA experience, within the investment banking industry as an Analyst, Associate, and/or Vice President with a proven track record working on executed deals across M&A and capital market
- Unwavering integrity

- Commercial instinct and ability to perform under pressure and tight deadline
- High level of focus on work quality and attention to detail
- Superior valuation skill
- Comfort reading and interpreting financial statement
- Strong written and verbal communication skill
- Bachelor's degree required; an MBA, CA and/or CFA designation would be an asset
- Series licensing or must obtain
Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $150,000 and $225,000 for an Associate, and between $250,000 and $275,000 for a Vice President, per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
