IT Analyst, Academic Operations

The Academic Operations IT team in the Office of the Provost is looking for one or more IT Analysts (Junior analyst welcomed) to provide IT support for several hardware and software platforms, including Windows and Apple desktops + laptops, mobile devices, printers, and conference rooms. The position collaborates with team members, customers, vendors, and central VCU Technology Services to ensure the business needs of the unit are met with minimum disruption/downtime.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Responding to customer requests, troubleshooting, and providing timely resolution, providing break/fix support, and support of audio and video conferencing spaces as needed.
• Providing day-to-day support for departmental computing needs, maintenance, and asset management.
• Developing documentation for systems and services provided to customers.
• Understand and ensure compliance with information technology and security policies.
• Other duties may be added and/or assigned as needed.
