ABOUT OUR CLIENT / ABOUT THIS ROLE Medix is currently seeing an IT Asset Manager for a full-time career opportunity with one of our Healthcare Services clients in the DFW area

Our client partners with thousands of independent healthcare practices and clinics across the US to provide centralized business support services - from HR and Recruiting, to Accounting, Procurement, Marketing and more! They have over 5000+ employees spanning 500+ sites of care, and are growing!

This individual will be joining the Corporate IT Team (Located in Dallas - Farmers Branch area) in leading the IT Asset Management program for the company. This will include Hardware Lifecycle Management, Software Licensing, Vendor Management and Service Contract Management.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Leading IT Asset Management for the company - covering all hardware, licensed software, vendors, and ongoing service contracts
• Partnering with leaders across the organization to track and plan for IT Asset needs.
• Developing structured processes to track and manage the lifecycle / end of life for all IT Assets within the organization
• Managing the planning and procurement for new hardware assets (laptops, routers, switches, wireless access points, servers, etc) as well as Software products
• Handling contract negotiations and service contracts with IT hardware and services vendors
• Negotiating and managing the legal agreements, licenses and ongoing support contracts with vendors
• Benchmarking and tracking vendor performance

REQUIREMENTS

• Required minimum 2+ years of IT Asset Management experience
• ITIL Foundations Certification
• Hardware Lifecycle Management
• IT Vendor Management
• IT Contract Management
• ServiceNOW would be a plus
• Prior Healthcare/Dental Services industry would be a plus!

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

• Talent must be local to the Dallas Ft. Worth area and willing to work in a hybrid capacity in Farmers Branch
