Our client is looking to fill the role of IT Audit Manager. This position is located on site in the Woodland Hills.

Responsibilities:
  • Supervise the SOX program's implementation by conducting walkthroughs, testing IT general and automated controls, reviewing key reports, and pinpointing control deficiencies. Also, oversee the remediation process across diverse systems.
  • Take charge of IT operational audits from initiation to completion, involving tasks like planning, risk assessment, setting objectives and scope, creating audit programs, conducting fieldwork, documenting outcomes, and meeting audit milestones.
  • Engage in discussions related to risk assessment and planning to define audit objectives, scope, and shape audit programs in alignment with the objectives.
  • Develop remediation strategies and action plans to aid control owners in improving the design and efficiency of internal control mechanisms.
  • Contribute to various internal department initiatives, encompassing training and development activities, conducting operational audits, and participating in internal reviews as necessary.
Required Qualifications:
  • Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS), Accounting, or Finance.
  • Hold a minimum of 5-7 years of experience in Internal Audit roles within corporate or public accounting environments, with a preference for Big 4 external audit experience.
  • Preferred certifications include Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), and/or Certified Internal Auditor (CIA).
  • Demonstrate proficiency in IT general controls, system development lifecycle methodology, and applications controls.
  • Display strong attention to detail and the ability to analyze information to identify underlying root causes.
  • Showcase exceptional interpersonal skills, covering effective written and verbal communication, readiness to assist beyond primary duties as required, and a commitment to personal growth and team success.
  • Possess the ability to multitask, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Capable of understanding challenges in a dynamic environment and devising alternative solutions.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly advanced Excel and PowerPoint functions.
  • Experience in conducting IT cyber-security assessments, data protection evaluations, and/or PCI assessments is advantageous.
  • Additional skills in data analytics are considered highly beneficial.
