IT Finance Manager

The Opportunity

Responsibilities:

• Manage and empower a team of highly motivated IT financial analysts and accounting/operations specialists across US locations including Princeton, Cincinnati and Hartford.
• Lead the planning and reporting of IT expenses (forecast, actuals) to Senior Management and local stakeholders (e.g. CFOs, COOs, IT Leadership Team, local FMR).
• Support the quarterly IT Service Review Meetings with Financials and ensure consistency between different views and stakeholders (Budget View, TCO View, RBE View, Run/Transform)
• Responsible for the US IT closing, accruals and invoicing activities including coordinating the interfaces to accounting, project / IT managers and CFO divisions.
• Serve as a strong interface within the international IT Financial Management team to align regarding SAP-CO maintenance, cost allocations, intercompany charges and reporting systems.
• Optimize processes to eliminate complexity drivers, increase the level of automation and efficient handling of ad-hoc / new requirements

Qualifications:

Successful candidates will possess the following experience, skills, and capabilities:

• Bachelors Degree, major in finance, economics or information technology preferred.
• 7+ years experience management experience
• Experience in insurance and or reinsurance a plus
• Proven track record of Senior Management Level interaction, i.e. being able to depict and communicate complex topics in a clear and simple manner to derive decisions
• Excellent knowledge in Accounting/Controlling/IT Controlling
• Strong entrepreneurial personality with the ability to drive, track, and redirect activities according to priorities, risks and issues.
• Outstanding analytical and conceptual skills with a pronounced client and service orientation.
• Strong team player with refined communication skills and willingness to continuously improve and educate/train others

• Profound knowledge of accounting and reporting systems, ideally SAP-CO, SAP BW, Excel, Coupa and Power BI.
