Piper Companies is looking for an IT Help Desk Technician to contract with a client in the biopharmaceutical industry who develops potential treatments for various diseases, including cardiovascular, central nervous system, and immunological disorders.

This is a long term contract opportunity with an onsite requirement of 4 days per week (Monday - Thursday) in Radnor, PA 19087.

Responsibilities:
  • Act as IT Level 1 & 2 on-site support for users in Radnor, PA and for remote users (including Sales Reps).
  • Ensure tickets are updated at all times until issues are resolved.
  • Escalate unresolved incidents/service requests.
  • Investigate and troubleshoot IT problems, diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults.
  • Deploy, manage and support endpoints such as Windows laptops, Apple iPads/iPhones.
  • Support the roll-out of new and updated applications.
  • Perform IT onboarding and training.
  • Perform IT asset management, including receipt, shipping, warranty and decommissioning.


Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience, preferably 3+ years in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • 3 or more years of experience providing onsite and remote support, including field sales teams.
  • Experience with ServiceNow or a similar ticketing system (ITSM tool).
  • Experience with hardware, such as reimaging laptops and iPads in preparation for new employees.
  • Possesses profound knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Apple iOS/iPadOS as well as an extensive general IT understanding.

Preferred:
  • Understanding of the pharmaceutical regulations within GxP environments.
  • Knowledge of current IT Service Management processes (ITIL v3).


Compensation / Benefits:
  • $35 - $45 / hour.
  • 4 day onsite, 1 day remote hybrid schedule.
