IT Intern

GENERAL JOB SUMMARY:

IT Operations Support.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Support IT operations hardware and software related activities.
• Support helpdesk ticket resolution.
• Aid in IT related Software installs and updates.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:

This position does not require supervisory responsibilities.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

Ability to maintain sensitive and confidential information as required by government standards.

Ability to interact effectively with peers and supervisors.

Ability to interact appropriately with the public when necessary.

Ability to adhere to workplace rules.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Must be currently enrolled in an IT related higher education discipline.

Basic computer skills required.

Ability to read, write, and follow written instructions.

WORK ENVIROMENT / PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Shop Floor and Office environment.

Ability to stand and sit for long periods of time.

Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
