LaSalle Network is currently partnering with a leading company in the building materials industry who is actively seeking to add an IT Operations Manager to join their team. In this role, you would oversee the engineering teams responsible for the enterprise's Linux, VMware and Windows infrastructure, while also co-managing storage, backup, disaster recovery and data center operations. This role is 2 days onsite in downtown Chicago.

IT Operations Manager Responsibilities:

• Supervise Linux, Windows, Storage and Cloud platforms to ensure continuous availability and reliability
• Manage IT infrastructure and operations projects for quality and timely completion within budget
• Lead a team of IT professionals, providing guidance and fostering career development
• Develop and implement IT policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and service delivery while ensuring compliance with security standards and regulations
• Oversee Disaster Recovery, Backup and Recovery infrastructure, ensuring thorough documentation, testing and continuous improvement

IT Operations Manager Requirements:

• Proven track record of managing engineering teams of 5-10 individuals
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, equipment procurement and contract negotiation
• Hands on technical expertise in Linux, VMware and Windows engineering earlier in your career
