Reports to a Manager or Director within IT@JH and is responsible for coordination and oversight of one or more IT related projects within the constraints of scope, quality, time and cost to deliver specified requirements and meet customer satisfaction. Projects will mainly consist of established or small to medium departmental level complexity.
Knowledge: Requires basic knowledge and understanding of the interrelationships of enterprise infrastructure technologies and information applications.
Skills: Effective meeting management, presentation, time management and communication skills. Ability to plan, organize, direct, implement and evaluate processes to lead people and manage resources to achieve desired result. Must be goal oriented, pragmatic, self-disciplined, and organized with ability to facilite, interact effectively with all levels of management.
Project Management Certifcation or related experience is preferred. Knowledge of health care.
Problem Solving: Ability to minitor and evaluate information, and to make necessary adjutments to procures and program implementation. Awareness of need for timely communication, able to identify potential barriers and strategies, and able to synthesize and integrate ifnormation. Relies on experience and judgement to plan and accomplish goals.
Informatoin Management: Ability to organize, create and maintain documents and effectivelly communicate status of project to all levels of the organization.
Working Conditions: Works in a "normal" office enviornment where there are not physical discomforts due to dust, dirt, noise, and the like. Must be willing and able to work in health care environment. Some local travel may be necessary.
Education: BS degree preferably in Information Systems. Business Administration, Management or Project Management. Work experience may be substituted for degree where appropriate.
Work Experience: Requires demonstrated 4-6 years IT experience or previous particiaption in IT Projects with large scope. Additional eduction may be substituted for experience.
