Our client is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead and oversee IT projects with a strong focus on implementing and refining project management processes. The ideal candidate will be adept at ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope and within budget while fostering a culture of process improvement and operational excellence. This role requires a strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to project management, skilled in coordinating cross-functional teams and driving process efficiency.

IT Project Manager Responsibilities:
  • Develop comprehensive project plans that outline project scope, timelines, resources and deliverables
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to define project objectives, requirements and success criteria
  • Manage project schedules, budgets and resource allocation to ensure timely and within-budget delivery
  • Design, implement and optimize project management processes and methodologies
  • Establish and enforce best practices for project documentation, reporting and communication
  • Conduct regular process reviews and identify areas for improvement to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
  • Lead cross-functional project teams, ensuring clear communication, collaboration and alignment with project goals
  • Provide guidance and support to team members, addressing issues and facilitating problem resolution
  • Foster a collaborative team environment and promote professional development
  • Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies
  • Monitor project progress and address issues proactively to minimize impact on project objectives
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, milestones and deliverables
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment with project goals
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, including project plans, status reports and post-project evaluations
  • Track and report on key performance indicators and project metrics

IT Project Manager Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration or a related field. Master's degree or PMP certification is a plus
  • 5+ years of experience in IT project management, with a demonstrated track record of managing complex projects
  • Proven experience in implementing and refining project management processes and methodologies
  • Strong knowledge of project management frameworks and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, Scrum)
  • Excellent leadership, organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Trello)
  • Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to project management
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results
