As the IT Software Asset Management Analyst, you are responsible for the management of the software in the environment from acquisition, compliance, renewals, forecasting and budgeting. You collaborate with others across the organization to make sure appropriate quantities and products are purchased and renewed on time. You analyze installed software to maintain accurate reporting and update the product catalog. You are a team player that is organized, time efficient and capable to work multiple tasks as needs arise.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for planning, monitoring, recording, and tracking software assets to ensure compliance with vendor contracts, licenses, entitlements.
  • Budgeting, cost tracking, analysis and reporting for maintenance and subscription renewals across 100+ vendors
  • Coordinate software license and maintenance agreement reviews
  • Ensure that any new software deployed follows established software license management processes
  • Submit purchase requisitions
  • Gather all of the license entitlements and software installation data
  • Support vendor entitlement audits as required
  • Assign and research software requests
  • Microsoft and Oracle licensing experience is a plus
  • Time Management skills are a must to organize multiple priorities.
  • Collaboratively work across different departments
  • Ability to review contract language
  • Proficient in excel to manage large data sets and perform financial analysis
Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor's in Finance or similar field
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • 1 - 3 Years' experience would be great, but recommend applicant would have some kind of Software Asset Management experience, or a similar Finance background
  • Understanding of information technology including software, applications and license types is a plus.
  • Ability to multi-task assignments
  • Ability to work independently with minimal directions
  • Excellent listening, written, oral and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent people skills to interact with staff, colleagues, cross-functional teams, partners, and customers
