A financial firm is looking for anIT Support Engineer to join their team in New York, NY.

Compensation: $100-130k

Responsibilities:
  • Resolve IT support requests from end-users in a timely and efficient manner
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, providing clear and concise instructions for issue resolution
  • Install, configure, and maintain desktop hardware, software, and peripherals
  • Assist users with account setup, password resets, and access permissions
  • Conduct training sessions to empower end-users and enhance their technical skills
  • Help with basic cloud maintenance tasks
  • Basic Linux server administration and maintenance tasks
  • Create technical documentation and manuals for end users
Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related technical field
  • 5 years of relevant technical experience
  • Experience in providing Tier 1 and 2 support in an IT environment
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms and services
  • Certifications such as CompTIA A , Network , Security , or AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner
  • Basic scripting language skills (e.g., Bash, PowerShell, Python) preferred
