Responsibilities

Responsible for training and supervising new support staff members. Responsible for providing software support to law enforcement agency points of contact involving escalated problem resolution and debugging that require a subject matter expert. This will involve assisting the main support line, issue tracker, and emails, when more complex issues arise. Will also serve as a backup for front line support when required.

Will provide development with in-depth steps to replicate more complex issues to ensure faster resolutions. Will serve as a liaison between agency and clerk of court points of contacts and TraCS staff. Is responsible for recommending internal IT policies and procedures. Is responsible for testing new versions prior to release. Ensuring support staff updates technical documentation and training materials to match the current software version.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or a high school diploma or equivalent and four years of experience. (Note: or a combination of post high school education and experience equal to four years)

Preferred Qualifications

May offer preference to those with Traffic and Criminal Software system experience.
May offer preference to those with experience with training law enforcement on industry related software systems.
May offer preference to those who are currently or were previously employed with a law enforcement agency.
May offer preference to those with current or previous Criminal Justice Information Services certification.
