An employer is looking for Java Developer to develop new features on an internal push notification mobile application for store associates. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Writing clean, scalable, well-tested quality code with strong knowledge of OO design.
- Taking ownership of the development process through testing and automation of CI/CD
- Taking ownership of services in production through monitoring, alerting and providing visibility into systems.

Required Skills & Experience

4-6+ years in an enterprise level environment

Expert level knowledge and understanding of Java 8, Spring Boot, and experience working with distributed systems and teams.

Hands on backend Java development experience writing APIs

Experience in building n-tier highly scalable, fault tolerant, reactive Microservices using Java

Extensive understanding of Kubernetes, microservice architecture and design, and best practices around multithreading, networking, offline storage, and performance tuning

Agile working environment

CICD pipelines

Working Experience with Kafka or RabbitMQ

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Past Walmart or Sam's Club experience
