Job Summary:

The Licensing Administrator, under the direct supervision of the Licensing Division Manager, applies federal and state statutes and rules, Agency policies and procedures, and critical thinking skills to process license and permit applications, forms, and requests received by the Board office.

This position is responsible for processing and critically reviewing license and permit applications; communicating with applicants over the phone and in person to address questions related to the application process and regulatory requirements; issuing licenses and permits; and preparing and presenting application files to the Board that require additional review and consideration.

The Licensing Administrator will collaborate with all areas of the Agency to ensure timely and accurate processing, review, and coordination of licensing applications, forms, and requests.

The Licensing Administrator will participate in ongoing cross-training, policy and procedure review, and process improvements.

This position will also support the Board's telephone call center as it relates to licensing-related inquiries.

Job Duties:

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSAs):

Knowledge:

• Willingness, eagerness, and adeptness to become knowledgeable in state and federal rules, regulations, and policies and procedures that pertain to pharmacy practice; state and federal laws in relation to healthcare practices (i.e. HIPAA, CMS, OIG, etc.); and fundamentals pertaining to pharmacy practice and healthcare compliance

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and G-Suite
