Our workforce, like our technology, is rapidly expanding and looking for a qualified Jr. Business Analyst.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The Jr. Business Analyst is responsible for assisting with group operations of SmartDRILL within their assigned area. In this role, they will ensure NDS Performance Drilling technologies deliver maximum value by engaging the customer. In addition, they will collaborate closely with drilling and remote operations, as well as training groups and technical support, to optimize operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Performance Products Operations

o Provide drilling performance analysis with guidance, including basic report interpretation and data gathering from customers and field personnel to obtain information as needed.

o Actively contribute to the development of the Performance Drilling Knowledge Base through improvements to the tool as well as data entry and analysis.

o Participate in customer engagements, providing support in well planning and drilling performance discussions under team supervision

o Provide support to drilling operations during field trials, gaining exposure to the applicable Drilling Performance products with the drilling contractor and operator.

o Assist in creating reports for internal and external distribution to document value of the products and recommended next steps in technology adoption.

o Track and report active job and trial activity, coordinating with relevant departments to ensure adequate staffing, resources and support for ongoing operations
• Customer Engagement

o Build foundational relationships with customers based on basic understanding of drilling challenges/solutions and the application of NDS technologies

o Support the differentiation of Nabors' offering by engaging closely with customers to integrate products into their processes to measure and improve performance
• Sales Support

o Aid account managers and operations managers during sales calls and customer visits including technical discussions, product presentations and product training

o Assist in identifying, validating and qualifying opportunities for application of NDS technologies

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• Basic understanding of the drilling process and associated mechanics/physics
• Developing analytical skills: with the ability to work on analysis spreadsheets and reports.
• Familiarity with MS Excel: for basic data management and analysis
• Effective verbal and written communicator.
• 0-1 years of experience in drilling operations and drilling performance roles.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• BS in Engineering (Petroleum, Mechanical, Electrical) or related field
• Basic proficiency in the use of an EDR (Electronic Drilling Recorder) system to monitor
• Bilingual in English & Spanish is a plus

ESSENTIAL SKILLS / PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS / WORKING CONDITIONS
• Occasional travel may be required (less than 20% of time)
