Junior .Net Developer
Our client is adding a Developer to their existing team for a 6-month contract-to-hire to hire opportunity. This role will primarily be responsible for the analysis, design, modification, testing, installation, and maintenance of .NET application programs. This team is also responsible for API maintenance and creation. In addition to .NET coding this person will work with SSRS for reporting needs both ad-hoc and enhancements. Day to day duties

• Primary skill set includes Microsoft Visual Studio, C#, XML, Structured Query Language, Web Services, SQL Server 2012+, Microsoft IIS server configuration, and GitHub.
• Systems analysis, development, testing, and deployment of .NET applications.
• Upgrade and maintain company web pages.
• Design, Develop, and Maintain APIs
• Design, create, and maintain SSRS reports.
• Configures a design that satisfies business requirements and desired specifications.
• Researches, evaluates and implements new technology to optimize software and application efficiency and usability.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams and clients to define, design and deploy enhancements and technical solutions that meet the needs of the company.

Required Skills:

• 1+ years of experience in .NET software development
• 1+ years of experience using web-based technologies (ASP.NET, Blazor, CSS)
• 1+ years of experience with .NET Framework (.NET6, .NET7, .NET8)
• Relational Database Experience (SQL)
• Knowledge and experience of object-oriented programming
• Validation testing with business units
• Minimum requirement of 1 year current experience of the primary skillset Bachelor's degree in related field

Desired Skills:

• Knowledge of Telerik Controls
• Knowledge of ASP.NET Core Identity Framework
• RWD - responsive web design (CSS, HTML5, Blazor)
• Experience/exposure with Power BI
• Experience with the full SDLC process
• Experience with Database Design
• Experience with IIS
• Automotive experience

Location:
This position is located in Novi, MI. Candidates will be expected to go onsite 3 days/week in a hybrid model.
