We are seeking a passionate and driven Junior Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Participate in code reviews and maintain standard coding practices.
  • Read, understand, and troubleshoot coded computer instructions and how they translate into data.
  • Review, test and validate coded program routines and data making revisions and eliminating errors in processing.
  • Expected to handle assignments with increased complexity and scope.
  • Assist in gathering, documenting, and refining business, data, and system specifications from business users and translate to database developers and analysts.
  • Develop an understanding of systems and technology used within the company.
  • Develop an understanding of the organizational relationships of the company.

Qualifications:
  • The successful candidate will be a highly motivated, self-starting, a team player, willing to be curious/learn, and take on new challenges.
  • The successful candidate must be comfortable working in a fast paced and rapidly changing environment.
  • Experience working in the healthcare or finance industry is desirable.

Education and/or Experience:
  • Recent graduate with a bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Preferably with a minor in finance.
  • 0 to 2 years of relevant experience.

Technology Skills:
  • Knowledge of/Familiarity with mainframe, .Net or other coding experience
  • Demonstrated ability/willingness/eagerness to learn new technologies and work on innovative solutions.
  • Demonstrated openness for learning, growth, coaching by peers and more senior level teammates.
  • General knowledge in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Demonstrated ability to do effective problem-solving and troubleshooting.
  • Perform tasks within predefined guidelines and procedures as assigned by manager or project team.

Pay Range
The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.

$78,800 - $108,500 per year

This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
