Korean Program Activities Director

York Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Korean Activities Director to oversee Activity Programming for our Korean Residents in its 240 bed skilled nursing facility. The Director of Korean Activities assumes administrative authority, responsibility and accountability for the provision of therapeutic activities designed to meet the interests and enhance the functional abilities and self-esteem of each Korean resident. Manages employees to provide activities according to the facility philosophy and consistent with state and federal laws and regulations. In collaboration with the Nursing Home Administrator, allocates resources. Ensures each Korean resident is able to engage in theraputic activities that embody Korean culture. Supervises Korean Activities Aides and Translators.

Work Experience: Minimum two years experience in a social or recreational program and managerial experience in a therapeutic recreation program.
