Lab Technician 3D

Location: Colorado Springs, CO

Pay Rate: $16/hr

Shifts: Monday - Friday, 4:00 AM - 12:30 PM

Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Lab Technician 3D to join our team in Colorado Springs. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining 3D printing equipment and performing various tasks related to the creation and quality assurance of 3D-printed products. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain 3D printing equipment, including setup, calibration, and troubleshooting.
• Prepare and manage materials and resins used in the 3D printing process.
• Follow detailed instructions and technical specifications to produce accurate and high-quality 3D printed models.
• Conduct regular quality checks to ensure adherence to design specifications and standards.
• Maintain detailed records of print jobs, including setup parameters, material usage, and any issues encountered.
• Perform routine maintenance on 3D printers and related equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with engineering and design teams to refine printing processes and address any technical challenges.
• Ensure the lab environment is clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations and procedures.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in a relevant field is a plus.
• Previous experience with 3D printing technology and equipment is highly desirable.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical documents and blueprints.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work accurately under pressure.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks.
• Capability to lift and move materials and equipment as needed (up to 50 lbs).
