Lab Technician

Apex Systems has an opening with a beverage manufacturing company we support in the Charlotte area. This position is 100% Onsite in Charlotte, NC and a 3 mo. Contract-to-Hire position.

Pay Rate:18-21/hr.

3 mo. Contract-to-Hire (Conversion is based upon performance)

100% Onsite in Charlotte, NC

• Shift Schedule is 9:30 PM - 6:00 AM; Sunday thru Thursday

Day to Daywill consist of being in charge of running a line. That responsibility includes:

• Testing the Acid, Sugar, CO2 (every hr)
• Completing water batch tests (every 30 min)
• Verifying batches for proper calibration (every 30 min)
• This resource will be in charge of the flavor change over line- physically go and move the flow pipe.

Perform the following administrative tasks:

• Enter test results in Lab Data Management System
• Maintain test log
• Physically inventory all lab chemicals
• Submit product samples to parent company's QA department
• Changeover lines and flavor tanks
• Communicate operating information and concerns to personnel on other shifts and in other departments
• Participate in team meetings to evaluate and investigate process improvement opportunities impacting team performance
• Perform other tasks to achieve department goals and requirements
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area throughout the shift • Maintain constant flow of proper syrup to all production lines
• Perform additional job-related tasks and special projects as directed.
