Lab Technician Mechanical

Experis, a division of ManpowerGroup, is working with our client, a well-respected, global manufacturer . They're looking for a Lab Technician-Mechanical, working fully onsite in Maplewood, MN. This is a 12-Month Contract with potential to extend and/or conversion to FTE. The ideal candidate has previous hands-on experience in a polymer processing/extrusion laboratory with developed understanding of PLCs/Controls, nice to have.

Job Title: Lab Technician-Mechanical
Location: Maplewood, MN 55119
Contract Duration: 12-Month Contract
Schedule: Mon-Fri, Fully Onsite, 7am to 4pm
Pay Rate: $26.57/HR + Benefits

This position will work closely with technical team members to plan and execute experimental trials related to polymer extrusion, coating, casting, and film forming.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and operate experimental, prototype/production equipment. Provide general maintenance, setup, and changeover of equipment.
• Perform sample testing, interpret and prove feedback on quality results, and adjust machinery to meet specifications based on test results.
• Maintain records of run conditions and quality test results. Produce necessary reports.

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma
• Experience working within a laboratory/research manufacturing environment
• Preferred experience working with PLCs/Controls, Experimental, Prototype/Production Equipment
• Mechanical Inclination, Attention to Detail, Works well in team environment
