We currently have a full-time opportunity for a Labor Relations Manager to lead and manage Maimonides Heath's labor relations activities including contract negotiations with labor unions, grievance handling, and interpreting and administering collective bargaining agreements.

In addition, you will:
  • Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws, regulations and bargaining agreements and represent MH in grievance hearings and arbitration.
  • Manage effective relationships with union reps, fostering open communication
  • Collaborate with human resources and legal departments to develop and implement policies and procedures that align with legal requirements
  • Analyze labor relations data to identify areas for improvement; develop proactive strategies
  • Develop and deliver programs for managers and supervisors on effective labor law practices including union avoidance strategies and positive employee relations
  • Provide expert advice to senior management on best practices and risk management

We require:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, Business Administration, or a related field. J.D. strongly preferred.
  • Extensive experience in labor relations, strongly preferred within the healthcare industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of labor laws, regulations, and collective bargaining processes.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Salary $110,000 - $140,000
