Laboratory Research Technician

The Wright Lab within the Department of Biomedical Informatics (DBMI) is seeking a Research Technician to collect data for a new project starting this fall. The research will involve studying the development of antibiotic resistance in bacterial pathogens. In particular, we are interested in how genetic elements may accelerate or decelerate resistance evolution. The technician will be responsible for preparing antibiotic-containing media, propagating bacteria, and preparing DNA for genome sequencing.
