At MilliporeSigma, as a Lab Technician - Stability, you will support assay development through commercial application of new and innovative service offerings within the biosafety testing space. You are responsible for the scientific integrity of technical work performed in the laboratory, and will make scientific observations, maintain detailed workbooks/documentation and ensure all documentation fulfills generally accepted professional/industry standards.Documents tasks in compliance with SOPs and regulations (cGMP and GLP)Maintains a standard condition of the facility through daily cleaningEnsures availability of lab supplies and orders suppliesCleans and sanitizes equipment and suppliesLabels petri dishes and other suppliesProcesses samples and ships inventoryMaintains temperature recordsComplies with health and safety regulationsCross-trains as needed and assignedPerforms other duties as assigned Who You Are: Minimum Qualifications:Associate's Degree in scientific discipline (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Microbiology, etc.)High School diploma or GED with 1+ years laboratory experience Preferred Qualifications:Experience with laboratory practices, equipment, and materialsBasic skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and Powerpoint)Effective oral and written communication skillsMath up to and including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division of all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals
