Responsibilities
Position Summary:
Staff Nurses assesses patient/family health problems and resources, takes a leadership role in the development, implementation and outcomes evaluation of a plan for nursing care provided by the nursing team. Provides technical nursing care and interventions to designated patient populations. This position requires providing service to a one or more age populations including an ill neonate through geriatric patient population in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional/developmental age of the individual served.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Current California Registered Nursing (RN) license
- Graduate of an RN School of Nursing
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
Preferred Qualifications:
- IBCLC certification preferred
- One (1) year of recent acute care experience preferred
- Bachelor's degree in health-related fields preferred
- Computer literacy preferred
- Post partum experience within the last year Labor and Delivery vaginal recovery and hemorrhage care experience within the last year
