Lead Accountant

A Tech Client of Insight Global is seeking a Lead Accountant to join their team in a full time opportunity. This person will be responsible for the US general ledger which includes cash, prepaids, fixed assets, accrual and payroll. You will record lease entries in accordance with ASC 842.

You will support month end processes which may include preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations in accordance with the close schedule.

As the Lead Accountant, you will be working with cross functional teams to obtain transaction information and resolve reconciling items. In addition, you will obtain the necessary information from them to create monthly/quarterly accruals and ensure transactions are properly recorded.

The lead accountant will be providing support to the Controller and Manager on special projects and other duties as necessary.
The Salary expectation is between $110,000-$150,000/year depending on experience.

Required Skills & Experience
- 6-10 Years of Accounting experience coming from a corporate/general ledger function or combination with public accounting experience
- Experience working with an ERP system

Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- CPA certification
- Experience with Oracle Fusion Plus
