By integrating both organic and ads features, this team helps everyone on TikTok to realize their social network goal with ease. The team enables not only small and medium businesses (SMBs) to drive hyper-growth but also large enterprises and e-commerce giants to enhance their global influence. The team empowers not only celebrities-to-be to form new communities but also auxiliates public figures communicating their ideology effectively. The team aims to enhance advertising efficiency by improving business users' workflows on TikTok, such as continuously bringing inspiring content with the latest trends, actively engaging with their communities through private and public messaging, and confidently executing their ad campaigns with data insights into their targeted audiences.

We are looking for strong software engineers who are excited to grow their understanding of Digital Marketing Management, build highly scalable and reliable software partnering across disciplines and geographies, and help businesses to achieve the best results with a joyful experience for TikTok users.

Responsibilities:
1. Design, develop, test, and continuously improve business users' experiences on TikTok
2. Manage the work of a focused team of software engineers, being a role model in providing guidance, regular feedback, education, and mentoring for R&D teams and XFN teams
3. Take responsibility for project directions, project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables
4. Define a long-term technical roadmap and contribute to technical decisions on your team
5. Collaborate with PM and R&D teams globally, in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in computer science or related technical discipline
2. 7+ years of experience in software engineering. Strong Computer Science fundamentals (algorithms, data structures, software architecture design) and problem-solving skills
3. 2+ years of experience managing or technically leading a software engineering team
4. Ability to think critically and formulate solutions in a clear and concise way
5. Very strong teamwork skills (e.g. communication, ownership, empathy, honesty)
6. Experience with Digital Marketing Management, Instant Messaging systems, Advertisement Technology, or Digital Content Creation is a plus, but not required
7. Experience with consumer-user-facing products is a plus, but not required
