Summary
The Lead Coordinator, Program Management is responsible for coordinating efforts with Undergraduate Medical Education (UME) leadership and members of the curriculum renewal team in supporting the development and operation of the new curriculum. Our new curriculum will evolve over the School of Medicine (SOM continuum, requiring ongoing assessment and enhancement. This position will independently manage multiple phases at the direction of the Associate Dean of Curriculum and curriculum teams. This position will also work in conjunction with members of the Evaluation and Assessment team, ensuring a high quality, efficient, and academically compliant curriculum is provided. The ideal candidate will possess technical capability in the use of electronic assessment and evaluation platforms such as ExamSoft, National Board of Medical Examiners (NBME) customized assessment system, MedHub and display of assessment data in electronic portfolios for use by students, advisors, SOM program leaders and appropriate SOM staff members.
This position may offer the flexibility of a hybrid work schedule.

Job Duties
- Designs, collects, analyzes, and reports formative and summative assessment data necessary to meet Liaison Committee on Medical Education (LCME) and Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) accreditation requirements for assessment of student learning outcomes.
- Leads all aspects of established remediation protocols for students in the Foundations of Medicine blocks, Intersessions, and other phases of the curriculum as directed by the Curriculum Deans.
- Assists with the curriculum mapping process including but not limited to linkage of Core Competency Graduation Goals for all pre-clinical and clinical courses within the School of Medicine.
- Provides data analyses and reports to SOM educational leaders to facilitate decision-making and program improvement.
- Presents post-assessment analyses and reports regarding to SOM educational leaders and Curriculum Committee, to facilitate decision-making and program improvement.
- Performs as a liaison to faculty through the supervision of student development while monitoring, coordinating, and developing a collection of assessment data analysis and remedial support.
- Collaborates with the Evaluation, Assessment & Education Research (EAR) team to ensure student assessment data is accurate and easily viewable in the electronic portfolio system.
- As the Chief Administrator for the Committee on Student Competency Attainment (CSCA), formally tracks and reports student performance that has not met the passing threshold to the Curriculum Deans for follow up with the CSCA.
- Leads post-assessment analysis sessions to review psychometric data regarding student performance and student queries for follow up with the CSCA.
- May assist with the development and implementation of competency-based assessment tools for faculty educator development.
- Collaborates, as directed by the LCME, with the SOM Curriculum Committee and the Foundational Sciences and Sub internships and Clerkship subcommittees.
- Collaborates directly with the Department of Education and Innovation in the development and implementation of faculty educator development.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree; four years of relevant work experience accepted in lieu of degree.
- Two years of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Two years or more of administrative oversight of an ongoing program or project.
- Demonstrated successful work experience with a professional curriculum,
- Demonstrated work experience, knowledge, and understanding of accreditation standards.
- Demonstrated knowledge of and technical capability in the use of electronic assessment and evaluation platforms. Examples include ExamSoft, National Board of Medical Examiners customized assessment system, MedHub and display of assessment data in electronic portfolios.
