Lead Data Architect

SF / Bay Area - Hybrid (2x/week onsite)

One of the world's most well-known and highly-regarded investment funds is looking to bring on a Lead Data Architect to their team. This firm is an industry leader in grantmaking and funding to initiatives that are solving society's toughest challenges across healthcare, education and local impact.

In this role, you will be repsonsible for leading an entirely greenfield initiative to ideatate, architect, design, develop and produce a modern, cloud-native data warehouse with cutting-edge technologies. We're looking for someone that's a proven innvoator in the data space with a track record of building high-performance data systems from scratch.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of professional experience in Data/Software Engineering
• Skilled in architecture of modern data warehousing, leveraging the latest and greatest technologies (Python, Databricks, AWS)
• Track record of taking products 0-1 as a lead/architect within an engineering org
• Experience migrating and upgrading data systems (leading migrations / tech modernization initiatives)
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, passionate about being in a mission-driven org
• BS or MS in Computer Science (or related STEM field)
• Experience within the Investment Management / Finance world is highly preferred
