THE IMPACT YOU CAN HAVE:

Digital commerce platform API team is currently looking for an experienced, hands-on Technical Lead to work in our e-commerce API development team. You will work closely with Architects, Developers, SDETS, Product Owners, Scrum masters and other cross functional teams to implement and support highly scalable, distributed, ecommerce applications built on Java and cloud technologies. As a technical lead you will spend the days translating business requirements into low level design, writing code, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and leading a small team of engineers in a fast-paced agile scrum environment.

YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH THESE GOALS BY:

• Collaborates with Architects, Product owners, Scrum masters, Tech Leads, QA, and cross functional teams to implement software solutions ensuring best practices and code quality while assisting teams' members.
• Designs and implements web applications in a service-oriented architecture which is event driven, highly scalable, secured and exposed as Rest API on google cloud platform.
• Lead a team of developers, ensure best coding practices, maintain code quality, support QA and production go-live.
• Investigates complex issues, implements fixes, and performs performance tuning.
• Proposes design solutions, conducts proof of concepts, estimates development effort, and writes code according to solution design.

ESSENTIALS FOR SUCCESS:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or equivalent professional experience.
• 10+ years of experience in software development with broad experience designing, programming, and implementing large information systems, with specific experience in Java/JEE 8 and web technology with functional programing experience.
• Demonstrated expertise developing enterprise-scale REST APIs using MicroServices, implementing event-driven architectures, working with message streams using google cloud technologies
• Expert-level knowledge of the Java Stack: Maven/Gradle, Spring Boot, Spring with test driven approach. Strong understanding of application development, web services, open-source frameworks, service-oriented architecture (SOA), object-oriented design and analysis, design patterns and best practices.
• Familiarity with Junit, SonarQube, Swagger/OAS 3.0, JIRA, Confluence, monitoring tools such as DynaTrace, NewRelic, MAT or JProfiler, mocking framework such as Mockito, EasyMock or PowerMock
• Experience with NoSQL database such as MongoDB
• Knowledge of Reactive programming is a plus
• Experience with commerce tools is a plus.
• Passion for learning new technologies and eagerness to collaborate with other creative minds
• Good written and verbal communicable skills.
• E-Commerce domain expertise.

The pay range for this position is $100,900.00 - $150,000.00 / Year with the opportunity for eligible associates to earn additional compensation pursuant to the Company's bonus plan. Exact pay will be based on factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, level, shift, geographic location, and business and organizational needs. Full-time positions are eligible for paid time off, health, dental, vision, life and disability benefits. Part-time positions are eligible for dental, vision, life, and disability benefits.
