Insight Global is seeking a Lead Labor Relations/Employee Relations Specialist. The position is designed to oversee and manage both labor relations and employee relations for the client. This role focuses on fostering a positive workplace culture, ensuring compliance with labor laws, negotiating collective bargaining agreements, and addressing employee concerns. The Lead professional serves as a liaison between management, employees, and unions, promoting effective communication and conflict resolution to enhance organizational performance and employee satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Labor Relations Management:
- Lead negotiations with labor unions to establish and maintain collective bargaining agreements.
- Develop and implement labor relations strategies that align with organizational goals.

2. Employee Relations Oversight:
- Address employee concerns and grievances in a timely and effective manner.
- Foster a positive workplace environment through proactive employee engagement initiatives.

3. Conflict Resolution:
- Mediate disputes and facilitate discussions between management and employees or unions.
- Implement conflict resolution strategies to address workplace issues and promote harmony.

4. Policy Development and Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with all labor laws, regulations, and organizational policies.
- Develop, update, and communicate policies related to labor and employee relations.

5. Training and Development:
- Provide training for management and staff on labor relations, employee engagement, and conflict resolution.
- Educate employees about their rights and responsibilities under labor agreements and company policies.

6. Communication and Reporting:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for labor and employee relations inquiries.
- Prepare reports on labor and employee relations activities, trends, and outcomes for senior management.

7. Data Analysis:
- Analyze employee feedback, labor metrics, and trends to inform organizational decision-making.
- Use data to identify areas for improvement in employee engagement and labor relations strategies.

Working Conditions:
- May require occasional travel to various sites and attendance at meetings outside of regular business hours.
- Fast-paced work environment with the need to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Labor Relations, or a related field; a Masters degree is preferred.
- Significant experience in labor relations and employee relations in a primary point of contact and/or lead role
- Extensive knowledge of labor laws, employee relations best practices, and conflict resolution techniques.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build trust and collaborate effectively with diverse groups.
