Ashley Global Retail, LLC has an opening for Lead IT Quality Analyst in Charlotte, NC.

Participate in all business projects while advocating quality and productivity. Lead the Quality Assurance Test staff in execution of Quality Assurance activities for moderate to complex sized projects. Coordinate the test execution activities of external resources. Identify and implement practices that result in successful software delivery; recommend changes for software that are not effective, time and cost efficient, or in compliance with company policies. Participate in test plan design and development; architecting and deployment of test suites for product development, software application development and information system launches; and operations system workflow enhancements based on the projects or product change requirements or specifications. Maintain an effective working relationship with management team members, acting as a Quality Advisor in the achievement of corporate goals. Ensure adequate workflow documentation, procedures, standards, and controls are in place and followed for Promotions and Withdrawals of changes and enhancements from the Integrated System Test environment to the Production environment. Maintain quality control and documentation in accordance with established processes and procedures. Lead third-party quality analysts and collaborate with developers and other IT teams on a variety of projects. Work with developers, project managers and business customers to define the strategy to be used, such as risk-based testing. Assist with the definition of the overall strategic and tactical objectives for testing for the Quality Assurance group. Continuously compare test progress with the plan, adjust the plan and testing activities as necessary, and provide status reports to management. Identify the necessary test data to support test conditions and test cases as they are defined, including data to force error and boundary conditions. Mentor Automation Team Members.

Job Requirements

Position requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related, and 10 years of experience in Information Technology or related.

Also, must have work experience in:

  • Agile Methodologies - SaFE and Scrum;
  • SQL and SQL Queries;
  • Leading and performing End to End/Functional testing;
  • API Testing;
  • Automation; and
  • Unix Shell Scripting.
